Did the film teach you something you didn't know before? If so, what?

Yes, I didn't know that Capital Punishment was once outlawed.

Yes, I didn't know that much information about the death penalty. I learned a lot.

Yes, I didn't realize how careless our judicial system was with convicting people of crimes. College journalism students solved crimes that Lawyers and judges falsely accused people of commiting.

Yes. The film taught me that even innocent people are sometimes convicted as guilty and are given the death penalty. I also learned that the death penalty is unfair, because it gets guilty people out of living with the guilt of killing someone.

It did teach me a little more than I did know. I did not know how the treated they people committed to get an answer out of them. My brother works at a county Jail as a transporter of crimnals and has not seen them do that to anyone, probably depends on the state. I personally did not believe them at first until my brother told me the person he works with has seen it done. I do think it is wrong, they would not just give up the death pentaly up because of a couple opinions.
